How to Apply

Applying is easy. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted. A non-refundable fee of $95 for domestic applicants and $250 for international applicants must be submitted with each application.

Create an Online Application

To begin the process, Create an Account. You will then be able to start the Online Application by logging in to your account.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging into your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.

Intermountain Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Basic steps for admission:

  •  Application and non-refundable fee submitted
  •  Date set for student entrance evaluation
  •  Pastor and school reference forms returned by the appropriate parties
  •  Current report card submitted or, for those applying to high school, current transcripts
  •  Copy of immunization record sent to Intermountain Christian School
  •  For Pre-K, Kindergarten and Home School students, a copy of birth certificate submitted
  •  Family interview
  •  Notification from ICS of the student’s status for enrollment

Please note that applications are not considered on a first come, first served basis; however, January and February applicants are given priority. Thereafter, applicants will be considered monthly. Standards for acceptance are based on the outcome of the student evaluation, pastor and school references, observations from our staff, the interview process, and support of the mission statement of our school. Additional considerations may include membership at Evangelical Free Church of Salt Lake City, students transferring from another Christian or private school outside of Utah, siblings currently enrolled and the number of children applying to ICS. Currently, ICS is not equipped to service moderate or severe learning disabilities.

Our financial aid deadline is April 15th for the upcoming school year. If approved, notification is sent out during the month of May or upon acceptance to our school. In the interest of good communication, we want you to know in advance that our tuition and fees typically increase four to six percent per year as we seek God’s guidance for the future.
