Day of Service

WHAT IS THE ICS DAY OF SERVICE?

ICS Day of Service is an event in which ICS students, faculty, family and friends serve in our community. We will serve at women’s shelters, homeless missions, food banks, nursing homes, and across the Salt Lake Valley.

Intermountain Christian School is a Christ-centered learning community that equips and inspires students to thrive in God’s world. ICS Day of Service supports our mission by inspiring in our students a sense of service and exposing them to service opportunities that exist throughout our community.

WHEN IS THE ICS DAY OF SERVICE?

We have designated the day of Thursday, April 13th, as our ICS Day of Service. We will send out our students following a school-wide assembly at 8:15am. Come and pray with us to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ICS DAY OF SERVICE?

Early Childhood Education, Lower Elementary (1st and 2nd Grades), Upper Elementary (3rd-5th Grades), Middle School and High School including Faculty and Staff and parent volunteers. Middle School and High School students will provide a full day of service, whereas our Early Childhood and Elementary students will be serving an age-appropriate amount of hours.

WHERE WILL THE ICS DAY OF SERVICE TAKE PLACE?

We will have as many as 22 different service opportunities across the Salt Lake Valley and beyond! Look for a list of agencies and churches coming soon!
