High School Finals Week Dec 17-21

  • Monday will be a review day, with normal school hours.  High school students will attend each of their core classes that day (no elective classes) as they prepare for final exams. 

  • Tuesday through Thursday:  there will be two exams each morning, one beginning at 8:30 and another beginning at 10:30.  There will be no late start for high school students on Wednesday, December 19th.  All high school students are expected to leave campus by noon during finals week unless they make arrangements to work with a specific teacher in the afternoon.

  • Friday, December 21st, is a half day for our school.  Students needing to make up a final exam can arrange with their teacher to do so on this morning.  All other high school students will have the day off.

Healthy Vending Machine

We are excited to announce that in addition to the soda machine we now also have a snack machine with several healthy snack options.  These vending machines are a privilege for MS/HS students but are off limits for ECE/ES unless they are accompanied by a parent.  Parents may accompany a child at drop off or pick up if they would like to allow them to purchase something from the vending machines.

Ms. Lee is looking for small decorative tiles and trim from backsplashes, colored glass, small glass beads, river rocks or gems. Items may be delivered to the Art Room. Love and Logic Training for Parents

Do you ever find parenting to by your hardest job? Are you looking for parenting tools that work? Brush up on your parenting skills through Love & Logic Principles and feel more equipped to handle your day to day parenting challenges. The seminar is taught by Love & Logic trained facilitators and will be hosted at Mountain View Fellowship Church, Heber City Utah on Sat., Jan. 12th from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $10/individual or $20/couple. Elementary 1st-5th grade Christmas Concert

It's that wonderful time of year again! We are excited to announce that our 1st-5th Elementary Christmas Concert is Tuesday, Dec. 4th at 6:30 p.m. Students are called to report to classrooms at 6:00 p.m. Dress is Sunday Best/Christmas Colors (red, green, white, and/or black). We request no high heels for girls and hair be pulled back so we can see their faces. Students will be taken back to their classrooms after the performance and parents can pick them up from their teachers. After the concert PTF would like to invite families to stay for cookies and cocoa. A fun time of fellowship for everyone! Please remember that parents are responsible to supervise during the cookies and cocoa time. Looking forward to an amazing night celebrating our King.

Dance for basketball game Dec 6th

Clarification for upcoming dance performances at basketball game. Due to a change in the games the following will be the dance schedule for Thursday, December 6th:

Tuesday Team: Arrive at 5:40 for 6:15 pre-game performance

Thursday Team: Arrive at 6:30 for 7:00 1/2 time performance

Middle School will not be performing at the December 6th games. 

Middle School will perform on January 18th at 7:00 p.m..

Ski Days 3rd-8th grade

We are excited again to go up to Snowbird for our half day ski programs. These days will be December 21, February 1, February 15 and March 8th. Students will ride the bus up right after school on these half days and have a time of group lessons with an instructor at Snowbird. Lifts close at 4 p.m. and we load the bus and come back to ICS for you to pick up your student and all their gear at ICS around 4:40 p.m.  

Rentals are not available at Snowbird. We ask that you bring your rented gear or your own gear to school on these days and leave it in the lobby. Skis and Snowboards will be loaded that morning and the students can get changed right after school. Helmets are REQUIRED. Please bring those helmets to school that day as well. 

The cost for this program is $150 and will be billed to FACTS directly. This includes 4 days of group lessons with an instructor, lift tickets and a few dollars for gas for the bus. This program is open to any current 3rd - 8th graders. Please sign up in the google form in the link below by December 7th.

Veterans, Join us for Chapel


ICS would like to formally invite all veterans in our school community (parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles etc.) to chapel on Wednesday, November 7th where you will be honored.  Please attend with elementary students at 10:00 or MS/HS students at 10:45 where you will also hear about how we are partnering with the Freedom Foundation to gather items for care packages for deployed soldiers in the 19th Special Forces.

Parent Night Out this FRIDAY!

The senior class has organized an evening of fun for your children while you get away to eat, shop, watch a movie, or just have some peace and quiet!  The first child is $20 and each other child from the same family is just $10! Please RSVP by filling out and returning this form via email to Senior Class Advisor Kelsey Heile (kheile@intermountainchristian.org).

  • There will be an ICS faculty member supervising this event.

  • This event is for babies no younger than 6 months up to 5th grade students.

  • The nursery will operate with two nannies for the full four hours for infants and toddlers.  Their needs will dictate the schedule. Please bring extra diapers/food to drop off with your tiny loves.

  • You may drop off late, or pick up your child early as long as this is communicated in advance.

  • For all kids pre-k through 5th grade the basic schedule is as follows:

6:00-6:30 pm Drop-off at ICS

6:15-8:15 pm Age-groups rotate between games, craft and snack stations

8:15-10:00 pm Whole group (except infants) will have story time,
followed by coloring or watching a movie

10:00 pm             Pick-up at ICS

Fall Carnival

This year our PTF team has the privilege of setting up a fall carnival open to the public, hoping our Kids can utilize our school to invite their friends and show God’s love through a fun safe carnival with bounce houses food and games. Tickets will be sold at the door and run between $8 and $12 for kids to play and eat from 6 to 9 PM. Unlimited ride wristbands $8 Unlimited rides AND games $10. Meal deal $2.00 (hot dog, chips, and drink) 4 Tickets/$1.00. Lots of food and fun! Everyone invited! Bring your neighbors and friends.

Holiday Child Care Sign Up

In an effort to support the growing need for Child Care we are excited to offer Holiday Child Care at ICS for students from PS-5th grade over part of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break this year. The cost will be $50/day and supervision will be provided from 7:45 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. This will be less structured than a school day with ample time to play, sled, and do crafts. Order one of three ways:

1. Place an order online at shop.shopwithscrip.com and use presto pay (which is a direct withdrawal from your account).  

2. Place an order online and give Nicole Stoddard (front office) a check made out to ICS in the amount you owe.

3. Email Nicole Stoddard directly to order and drop a check made off to the front office.

All orders need to be placed by Tuesday mornings.
