They have been equipped and inspired here at ICS and we look forward to how each of them will impact and thrive in God’s world! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
The Field Studies Trips are in Mexico, San Francisco, Long Beach Marine Institute on Catalina, and hiking and rock climbing in Wyoming. These trips are an integral part of the ICS high school experience where the students get to serve less fortunate communities, tour college campuses, and explore and enjoy all that the location chosen has to offer!
The ICS MS/HS Spring Concert and Art Show is coming up and we can’t wait to display all the gifts and talents of each and every one of our upper school students! Come join us and we guarantee you will be blessed beyond measure and proud beyond belief of the work that these students have accomplished this year!

Love and Logic seminar taught by Dr. Charles Fay is taking place on Tuesday, April 16th from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Layton. If you are not familiar with Love and Logic it is a tried and true discipline philosophy that gives you great tools to teach your children responsibility and healthy boundaries. Our teachers have been trained in this philosophy and we offered an evening parent seminar last year that was really well received. If you are interested you can register at this link: https://www.loveandlogic.com/classes-and-conferences
The 2019 Elementary State Chess Championship will be held at Freedom Prep Academy in Provo this year. Register here or at utahchess.com. On Mar 16, young chess players from all over the state of Utah will join together to challenge each other. Several hundred players are expected, and students will play six games with others in their own grade. Registration is open to all K-6 students--no qualifying meet is required. We are interested in starting a Chess Club at ICS next year as we know chess teaches great problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
