Intermountain Christian School holds high academic standards for all students, enabling and encouraging them to become all God created them to be. Our test scores reflect their achievement with elementary students averaging in the 85th percentile on the nationally normed MAP test.
ICS has a number of clubs that enhance and expand the academic experience and allow our kids to discover and cultivate God’s gifts. We offer dance, Chinese, Chess, Lego groups, Book Club. Additionally we offer gifted and talented programs and reading specialists.
Faith Formation & Cultivation
We partner with parents and intentionally instill in children to know and love the Lord. Academically we do this by memorizing Bible verses, providing age-appropriate Bible lessons and curriculum. We intentionally design engaging weekly chapel experiences where we learn about faith and life in God’s world.
Value and Investment
Is private school worth it? Private Christian education is an investment and we recognize it is also a sacrifice for many of our families. We think the investment in our children’s education, faith formation, and character will pay off dividends for generations to come. We try to work towards creating graduates who are Christ-like wise influencers.
We believe in building a well-rounded and highly engaged student body. This not only develops a better student but also creates strong relationships among students. From our Friday ski days at the world-famous slopes in our backyard to dance and highly engaged physical education classes. We also offer weekly art class, Spanish classes beginning in Kindergarten and integrate technology throughout the learning experience.
The ideal learning environment is one where each student is known and loved. At ICS we strive to support learners by offering reading and math support for struggling students, as well as a gifted and talented program to challenge high achievers. Students thrive as parents and teachers partner together to create a Christ-centered learning community.
