Matt is a 2013 graduate of Davidson College and brings 4 years of prior high school teaching experience. New to Salt Lake City, Matt is the worship leader for a new church plant, Ridgeline Church. Matt joined the ICS faculty in Fall of 2018.
Kelsey Heile graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and Cellular/Molecular Biology. She holds a Master of Secondary Science Education also from UT. Kelsey had 2 years of teaching experience when she joined ICS in 2015.
Nathan Hope earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Pensacola Christian College and holds a Master of Secondary Education from Liberty University. He has over 17 years of teaching experience and has been with ICS since 2004.
Danielle is a long-time ICS parent of three ICS alumni and four current ICS students. Danielle learned Spanish out of necessity as a professional cook. She has been the elementary substitute spanish teacher since 2014 and joined as a faculty member in 2015. She earned her BA in education with Western Governors University.
Julie Johannesen has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Education Policies from Pennsylvania State University. She also holds a Master of Science for Teachers in Secondary Education. She had over 10 years of teaching experience when she joined the ICS faculty in 2015.
Andrew hails from Shelbyville, Kentucky and grew up seeing history came alive while on family vacations. Armed with a love of history, Andrew graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2018 with a degree in history education. He completed his student teaching at Pensacola Christian Academy. Andrew joined ICS in the Fall of 2018.
Amberly Lin attended Biola University in Southern California where she earned a BA in history. She returned to complete a MA in teaching in secondary English and history. Amberly had 6 years of teaching experience in various settings before joining ICS in 2019.

Jim Wirkus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration from National University in San Diego, California. Retiring after 23 years in the Marines, Jim felt called to teach. Jim brings 14 years of teaching experience to ICS where he joined the faculty in 2015.
Amy has coached MS and HS sports at ICS for 7 years, most recently serving as the HS Volleyball Conditioning Coach. She is currently enrolled in a physical fitness certification program through the University of Utah. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northwest Missouri State University and Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah. She joined the ICS teaching staff in 2017.
