Who is ICS?

Launched in 1982 by a handful of families desiring Christian education for their children, ICS has grown and, today, the community represents over 40 churches.  We support each other, serve our neighbors, and honor God.

Fully accredited by Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), CSI (Christian Schools International) and COGNIA, our exemplary education is displayed in academics, athletics, fine arts, and community outreach. Our 53 faculty and staff members love Jesus and our nearly 300 students, from prek-12th grade.  Teaching is centered around educational best practices and intentional biblical integration. 

In partnership with families, we disciple students toward excellence, joyful curiosity, and biblical faithfulness—building the school of choice for Christians in the Salt Lake Valley.

ICS is tucked along the Wasatch Front at the base of Salt Lake Valley’s Big Cottonwood Canyon. Our campus features a 43,000 square foot building with an impressive view of the mountains above and valley below. We have direct access to The Greatest Snow on Earth®, incredible trails for hiking and biking, and some of the most unique state and national parks in the United States. ICS is a school with an inspiring location and great opportunities for our students to learn and grow within the amazing beauty of God’s creation.
