Open Positions

Middle School Bible and Social Studies Teacher

Intermountain Christian School (ICS) is accepting applications for a full-time Middle School Bible and Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. ICS is a Christ-centered learning community that exists to equip and inspire students to thrive in God’s world. We are seeking a passionate, dedicated educator to guide students in understanding God’s story throughout history and their place in it today.

The Middle School Bible and Social Studies Teacher will teach courses that help students grow both spiritually and intellectually as they explore Scripture, world history, civics, and culture. The teacher will foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, empathy, and a biblical worldview, helping students connect faith to current events and relationships within their communities. Collaboration with colleagues across grades and subjects to support spiritual formation and academic excellence is expected.

Applicants must profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and be eligible for either Utah or ACSI teacher certification. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Bible, theology, history, education, or a related field; have prior experience teaching middle school students; demonstrate a heart for discipleship; and pursue ongoing professional and spiritual growth. Middle School Drama Elective Teacher

Intermountain Christian School (ICS) is accepting applications for a part-time Middle School Drama Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. ICS is a Christ-centered learning community that equips and inspires students to thrive in God’s world. We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about helping students discover their God-given gifts through the performing arts.

The Middle School Drama Teacher will guide students in developing skills in acting, performance, stage presence, and teamwork. This role includes directing class performances and collaborating with fellow teachers to integrate faith and creativity into the broader school community. The teacher will create a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters confidence, imagination, and the joy of storytelling to the glory of God.

Applicants must profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and be eligible for either Utah or ACSI teacher certification. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in theater, education, or a related field or have experience directing or performing on stage; demonstrate a commitment to mentoring middle school students; and model spiritual maturity and creative excellence. Summer Program Lead Counselor

Position Overview

Camp ICS is seeking a Lead Counselor who will lead, support, and motivate campers while overseeing counselors and counselors-in-training. This role is vital in creating a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment where campers can thrive.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, attentive, organized, and decisive. A Lead Counselor should demonstrate strong leadership, responsibility, and a genuine heart for ministry, while helping ensure every camper has a meaningful and memorable experience.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A born-again Christian with a strong Christian testimony
  • In full agreement with the ICS Statement of Faith
  • Ability to complete a fingerprint background check prior to employment
  • Ability to attend one mandatory paid training day prior to camp
  • Teaching or camp experience preferred
  • High level of responsibility and accountability
  • Upbeat, engaging personality
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor campers to ensure safety, prevent accidents, and enforce camp rules
  • Supervise counselors and counselors-in-training in accordance with Camp ICS policies
  • Lead campers in pre-planned activities provided by the Camp ICS Director or Theme Leader (games, crafts, Bible lessons, songs, and more)
  • Maintain and care for camp facilities and equipment
  • Document and report incidents (accidents, rule violations, etc.) to parents and the Camp Director
  • Memorize and execute all emergency procedures
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and Christ-centered camp culture

Compensation $18 per hour

Availability 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Must be available to work full camp weeks
