Part-Time High School Music Teacher

ICS is seeking a professional committed to embracing our school mission: We are a Christ-centered learning community that exists to equip and inspire students to thrive in God’s world. This position requires the applicant to profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. Teaching candidates must be eligible for either Utah or ACSI teacher certification.

The music teacher will teach students fundamental music theory concepts like rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo. They will conduct vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and playing musical instruments (e.g., handbells). The music teacher will also lead rehearsals in preparation for the school's musical performances. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for student discipleship alongside an interest in Biblical integration, a commitment to curiosity and growth, and a desire to pursue educational best practices.

Lower Elementary Paraeducator & Before Care Coordinator

Intermountain Christian School is accepting applications for a full-time Lower Elementary Paraeducator / Before Care Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. A full-time position with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., beginning August 7, 2026, supporting students and teachers in PreK-2nd grade while coordinating the school's Before Care program.

The Lower Elementary Paraeducator / Before Care Coordinator provides classroom, instructional, and supervisory support for students and teachers in the lower elementary grades, with a primary focus on serving the PreK program. This position oversees the daily operation of Before Care, including student supervision and program coordination, while also assisting teachers with classroom activities, instructional support, behavior management, preparation of materials, and other responsibilities that contribute to a nurturing and effective learning environment. The role requires a heart for children, strong organizational and communication skills, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering students' academic, social, and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered setting.

This position requires the applicant to demonstrate a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles, and to fully support the mission, vision, values, and statement of faith of Intermountain Christian School. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred. Experience supporting classroom instruction, supervising students, or working in early childhood education is highly desirable.

Learning Lab Interventionist & After Care Coordinator

Intermountain Christian School is accepting applications for a full-time Learning Lab Interventionist / After Care Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. A full-time position with regular hours of 9:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m., beginning August 7, 2026, providing academic intervention and student support while coordinating the school's After Care program.

The Learning Lab Interventionist / After Care Coordinator provides academic, supervisory, and program support for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. This position coordinates K-8th grade DIBELS assessments, coordinates 1st-7th grade MAP Growth testing, provides reading intervention for K-8th grade students, supervises study halls, supports student testing needs, and oversees the daily operation of After Care programming. The role requires strong organization, clear communication, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting students' academic, social, and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered setting.

This position requires the applicant to demonstrate a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles, and to fully support the mission, vision, values, and statement of faith of Intermountain Christian School. Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Previous experience working with students in an educational setting preferred. Experience with reading intervention, student assessment, academic support, or school program coordination is highly desirable.

Part-Time Upper Elementary Paraeducator

Intermountain Christian School is accepting applications for a part-time Upper Elementary Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year. A part-time position with regular hours of 7:55 a.m. – 12:25 p.m., beginning August 7, 2026, providing instructional and supervisory support for upper elementary students while assisting with key student supervision responsibilities throughout the school day.

The Upper Elementary Paraeducator provides classroom, instructional, and supervisory support with a primary focus on serving the 5th grade classroom. This position assists the 5th grade teacher with classroom activities, small-group instruction, preparation of materials, student support, and other responsibilities that contribute to a positive and effective learning environment. The role also includes supervising students during Before Care, lunch duty, and recess duty, helping ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing environment throughout the school day. The ideal candidate demonstrates a heart for children, strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting students' academic, social, and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered setting.

This position requires the applicant to demonstrate a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles, and to fully support the mission, vision, values, and statement of faith of Intermountain Christian School. Bachelor's degree preferred.
