Christian Education for Utah

Intermountain Christian School (ICS) has been a critical resource for Christian families in Utah for over four decades. Established in 1982, we are we are the only ACSI-accredited school in Utah, and the only PreK-12 Christian school in the Salt Lake Valley holding both cognia and ACSI accreditations. Our vision is clear: In partnership with families, we disciple students toward excellence, joyful curiosity, and biblical faithfulness—building the school of choice for Christians in the Salt Lake Valley.

Annual Fund Makes it Possible

All In for Students Today

Our first priority: the Annual Fund
2026–2027 minimum goal: $250,000

A Christ-centered education can shape a child’s life. Together, we can help more families access that opportunity. Tuition income does not cover the full cost of operating ICS. This year, we need at least $250,000 in Annual Fund gifts to balance our operating budget and sustain the mission we share. The Annual Fund helps underwrite our commitment to families facing financial barriers, families experiencing crisis, and those serving in Christian ministry.

This year, ICS has awarded:

Tuition assistance: Helping families with verified financial need, above and beyond the Utah Fits All state scholarship
$60,000

ICS Opportunity Scholarships: Helping families facing circumstances such as a death in the family or loss of employment
$50,000

Christian ministry discounts: Helping pastors and those working in full-time Christian ministry access Christian education for their children
$195,000

These commitments help children remain in a caring, Christ-centered learning community and strengthen our partnership with families serving the Church. The $250,000 Annual Fund goal represents the minimum giving needed to balance this year’s overall operating budget.

Please make the Annual Fund your first giving priority. Additional gifts to projects and Lion Legacy help us accomplish more.

All In for the Student Experience

A secure place for an athlete’s belongings. A welcoming space for a preschooler to explore. A campus better equipped to care for students and staff. The Lion Legacy Fund is providing $7,500 in seed funding toward three immediate projects. An additional $23,500 in gifts will complete their funding.

Athletic Lockers
Additional gifts needed: $3,000

Help provide ICS and visiting athletes with a secure place for their belongings. This project will equip our locker rooms with lockers and improve the experience of students who use our athletic facilities.

Little Lions Preschool Playground
Additional gifts needed: $2,500

Help our youngest learners play, explore, and grow. Improvements to the preschool playground will support active learning and healthy development during these foundational years.

Campus Safety Improvements
Additional gifts needed: $18,000

Help fund practical improvements identified through our recent campus safety assessment. This initial phase supports campus visibility, pedestrian safety, emergency preparedness, and building security as we continue caring for students, employees, and visitors.

These project gifts are needed in addition to our Annual Fund operating support.

All In for Generations

Your generosity today can strengthen Christian education for students who have yet to walk through our doors.

The Lion Legacy Endowment Fund supports STEAM learning—science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics—along with facility improvements and tuition assistance. Under the fund’s structure, 80 percent of the annual investment return is available to support these purposes.

Current fund balance: $350,240
Next investment milestone: $500,000
2026–2027 giving goal: $150,000

A generous donor has committed $20,000 in matching funds toward this year’s Lion Legacy appeal. That commitment is included in the $150,000 goal, leaving $130,000 to be raised from other donors. Your gift can help fulfill this commitment and grow the resources available for future ministry.

Within the Lion Legacy Endowment Fund, our long-term tuition-assistance goal is $2 million. We envision an ongoing source of support for families with verified financial need and those serving in full-time Christian ministry. Growing this resource would help reduce pressure on tuition income and annual fundraising while extending access to Christian education. We invite individuals, families, churches, and businesses to explore a significant investment in this vision.

Let’s talk about the difference you can make.
