Part-Time Elementary Dance Instructor

Intermountain Christian School (ICS) is accepting applications for a part-time Elementary Dance Instructor for 1st-2nd grades for the 2026–2027 school year. ICS is a Christ-centered learning community that equips and inspires students to thrive in God’s world. We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about helping students discover their God-given gifts through dance.

The instructor will guide 1st-2nd grade students in developing skills in dance technique, strengthening, performance, stage presence, and teamwork. This role includes teaching on Tuesdays from 3:20-4:15 pm for approximately 11 weeks during first semester and 14 weeks for second semester. The instructor will oversee choreographing a Christmas and Spring class piece to be presented off campus the 2nd week of November at the Expo Center, at the Christmas and Spring Dance Chapels and at the two night Spring Dance Concert. The instructor will create a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters confidence, imagination, and the joy of dance to the glory of God. The instructor will work under the umbrella of the overall ICS Dance Program, directed by JeQuita Lee. Applicants must profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in dance, education, or a related field or have experience directing or performing on stage; demonstrate a commitment to mentoring elementary students; and model spiritual maturity and creative excellence. Part-time High School Ensemble and Handbells Teacher

Intermountain Christian School is accepting applications for a part-time High School Ensemble and Handbells teacher.

ICS is seeking a professional committed to embracing our school mission: We are a Christ-centered learning community that exists to equip and inspire students to thrive in God’s world. This position requires the applicant to profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. Teaching candidates must be eligible for either Utah or ACSI teacher certification.

The music teacher will teach students fundamental music theory concepts like rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo. They will conduct vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and playing musical instruments like bells. The music teacher will also lead rehearsals in preparation for the school's musical performances. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for student discipleship alongside an interest in Biblical integration, a commitment to curiosity and growth, and a desire to pursue educational best practices.
